Driver and Pantry Assistant

Part-Time (10 hours per week)

We are looking for a reliable, friendly and strong part-time driver and pantry assistant to pick up food purchases and donations from local retailers and set up the pantry to distribute food to clients.  This position will report to the Purchasing Manager. 

Responsibilities:

            o Safely operate the APTT van for pick-ups

            o Load and unload food and supplies

            o Communicate effectively with staff

            o Stock the pantry kitchen and help with setup for distribution

Qualifications:

            o Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

            o Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly

            o Reliable, punctual and organized

            o Friendly and professional when interacting with vendors and/or partner organizations   

Compensation, hours and benefits

            o $20 per hour

            o 10 hours per week:

                        -Monday 8am - 12pm

                        -Tuesday 8am - 10am

                        -Wednesday 8am - 10am

                        -Thursday 8am - 10am

o Paid sick time
