Community Food Program
The Community Food Program increases access to food for families and individuals who cannot come to the pantry. In close collaboration with community partners, we bring healthy food to people in ways that make it easy and convenient for them.
Agency Pick-ups
Staff and volunteers from social service agencies can pick up groceries for families and individuals who use their services. Families can choose the foods they want by completing a form indicating their preferences.
Innovation and Expansion
Haley Jeansonne, our Community Food Program Director, works closely with community partners, including people facing food access barriers, to develop and test new food distribution methods.
Mobile Markets
We bring fresh food directly to housing complexes and neighborhoods with the greatest need. This eliminates transportation barriers and makes healthy food more accessible.
Adding to Existing Distribution Networks
Trusted community partners are already delivering food to many families in our community. We work with these organizations to add fresh produce to their deliveries. By building on existing networks, we help families access more fresh, healthy food.
If your organization would like to participate in agency pick-ups, provide transportation for families and individuals, or collaborate on new ways to increase access to healthy food, we'd love to hear from you. Please reach out to Haley Jeansonne, Program Director.
