Kayleigh May is running the Boston Marathon for APTT!
My name is Kayleigh May, and Natick has always been home to me. I grew up here and graduated from Natick High School, where I was lucky enough to be a student-athlete. As I transitioned out of field sports, I embraced my love for running, something that has carried me through several marathons — though Boston has always held a special place in my heart. I grew up watching the race each year, cheering on runners from downtown Natick and being inspired by neighbors, teachers, and community members taking on something that truly amazed me.
Running Boston means so much to me, not just because of the race itself, but because of what it represents: determination, grit, community, and giving back to a city and town that have given me so much. I feel incredibly grateful to be running the Boston Marathon in support of A Place To Turn, an organization that means a lot to both my family and the Natick community.
My mom volunteers with A Place To Turn, and I have seen firsthand the care and compassion they bring to addressing food insecurity. They provide essential support to Natick and surrounding towns, and they work incredibly hard to do so. A Place To Turn helps make food insecurity feel less isolating and more manageable for those in our community who are facing it. Their commitment to supporting individuals and families in Natick and surrounding towns is inspiring. Their compassionate approach is what makes the organization so impactful and so special. I am honored to be able to support such an important organization and the people who make it so special.
Running for A Place To Turn allows me to combine my love for running, my appreciation for my hometown of Natick, and my desire to give back to the community!
Thank you for supporting me and for helping make a meaningful impact right here at home.
